Manchester folk quintet A Band Called Jack write melancholic tunes about love and sad TV shows, and sometime both within the space of a song. Their debut single Kiss Me is a fine example of violin driven old school acoustic music with the vocals upfront. This is a band that thrives on stage, whether it is a big festival or an intimate pug gig, offering solace after your team has lost a big match. Best enjoyed with a pint of exquisite lager.
